Joint Venture Executive

In this case, two federal services contracting firms joined forces with the intent to manage a defense manufacturing services contract. After evaluating internal candidates and not filling the role, the joint venture engaged KeySource Thomas Thor to identify candidates to serve as its Chief Operating Officer.  To qualify for this leadership role, candidates needed to have managed complex manufacturing and highly-classified assembly operations. Additionally, candidates were to have an outstanding safety record and quality programs.  KeySource Thomas Thor presented multiple candidates and the client quickly selected its new COO.  This recruiting initiative was completed under budget which brought savings to the client.  Shortly after the candidate was hired one of the partner companies moved its President to another subsidiary.  This shift resulted in promoting the newly hired COO to  President and CEO of the joint venture.
