Tim Advent, Talent Acquisition Manager for KeySource Thomas Thor, is responsible for delivering large-scale staffing campaigns for domestic and international clients in both the public and commercial sectors of the nuclear and energy industries.  For highly specialized positions or unique circumstances, Tim adapts his recruiting model to best serve a client’s specific needs.  Working side-by-side with internal human resource personnel, hiring managers and client executives, with a focus on building client relationships, Tim delivers full life-cycle recruiting strategies and services that ensure a client’s ongoing and future organizational talent demands are met, exceeded and measured.

Prior to KeySource Thomas Thor

Tim is a Human Resources professional with demonstrated experience in multiple disciplines of HR, including Recruiting & Staffing, and HR Generalist roles.  Prior to KeySource Thomas Thor, Tim served as an HR Generalist IV for First Energy, working within the nuclear power industry to find and staff operations, engineering, and all exempt level positions at FENOC’s three nuclear plants.

After receiving a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Political Science from the University of Dayton and later receiving an MBA in International Business from Cleveland State University, Tim started his human resources career in talent acquisition for The Registry as recruiter.  Following his work at The Registry, Tim has worked for other large organizations internally or as a consultant focusing on Recruiting, Recruiting Management and HR generalist duties.
